Environmental policy debate continues

14 SEPTEMBER 2017
VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies students need to stay on top of political policy

A proposed Clean Energy Target called for by Chief Scientist Alan Finkel continues to cause political debate this week as the government tries to hold on to ‘clean coal’ projects.

Knowledge about a state or federal political party’s environmental policy may form an exam question for students of VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies.

The Checkpoints VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies study guide provides official past exam questions and suggested responses as well as tips on studying effectively and succeeding in exams.

Practice question from Checkpoints VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies study guide:

Question 29 (4 marks) You should adequately describe two specific environmental policies of a major political party at a state or national level. Two marks are awarded for each accurate description of a relevant environmental policy.

Now including the online revision tool QuizMeMore, this study guide has been written by expert authors, Josh Ambrosy, Jessica Harris, Adam Hipwell and Brendan Hodges. Adam Hipwell has established the VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies Teacher Page on Facebook.
