Reviews

Paper Dreaming is an insightful collection of stories and poems written by a range of Indigenous writers, exploring notions of identity, culture, time, place and growing up in Australia today.

Suitable for junior and middle secondary students, Paper Dreaming includes questions and writing activities for students to develop their writing, comprehension and analysis skills.

  • Themed sections contain stories and poems that reflect the myriad of experiences that surround growing up as an Indigenous Australian.
  • Research and discussion questions get students talking about what they have read and encourage students to build on what they have learned by doing further research.
  • Writing and Creating activities guide and encourage students to explore literary techniques and to think about storytelling and writing skills to create their own unique stories.

10% of net sales will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, a charity dedicated to addressing literacy in remote Indigenous communities and isolated regions, and advocating community awareness of Indigenous literacy issues.
