Cambridge Senior Mathematics: Australian Curriculum is an authoritative series for the Australian Curriculum that builds on a proven maths teaching and learning formula while incorporating the content and assessment requirements that characterise senior curricula in WA, TAS and ACT. The content of this series can be also be used as a resource for SA but may require some supplementation by teachers. 

The Online Teaching Suite is our most advanced teacher resource yet, combining a teacher optimised version of the Interactive Textbook and its rich digital content with a suite of supplementary resources and a powerful learning management system (LMS).


The Online Teaching Suite is available for purchase separately. The unique 16-character access code will be delivered via email or in a sealed pocket if purchased online or through a bookseller. Your Cambridge Education Resource Consultant may also supply you with an access code.

Online Teaching Suite
The Online Teaching Suite combines the Interactive Textbook powered by HOTmaths with its rich digital resources, a suite of supplementary resources and a powerful Learning Management System (LMS). It is accessed online through the series portal. Your Cambridge Education Resource Consultant will provide access to the Online Teaching Suite if your school has purchased or booklisted one or more Cambridge courses. The Online Teaching Suite is also available for purchase separately and can be activated using the unique 16-character access code supplied on purchase.

The Online Teaching Suite is available as a calendar-year subscription. A calendar-year subscription is defined as follows: if activation occurs between January and July of this year, subscription concludes on 31 December this year. If activation occurs between August and December of this year, subscription concludes on 31 December the following year.

Michael Evans

Michael Evans has a PhD in Mathematics from Monash University and a Diploma of Education from La Trobe University. He currently holds the honorary position of Senior Consultant at the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute at the University of Melbourne. He was Head of Mathematics at Scotch College, Melbourne, and has also taught in public schools and in recent years has returned to classroom teaching. He has been very involved with curriculum development at both state and national levels. In 1999, Michael was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws by Monash University for his contribution to mathematics education.

David Greenwood

David Greenwood is the Head of Mathematics at Trinity Grammar School in Melbourne and has 30+ years teaching mathematics from Year 7 to 12. He is the lead author for the Cambridge Essential series and has authored more than 80 titles for the Australian Curriculum and for the syllabuses of the states and territories. He specialises in analysing curriculum and the sequencing of course content for school mathematics courses. He also has an interest in the use of technology for the teaching of mathematics.

Kay Lipson

Kay Lipson has a PhD in Statistics Education, and Diploma of Education. Her experience includes over 30 years teaching mathematics and statistics at both secondary and tertiary level, as well as extensive periods as a VCE examiner. Kay is an experienced author of textbooks for the Years 11 and 12 Mathematics courses, specialising in the areas of Probability and Statistics.

Peter Jones

Peter Jones is a Professor Emeritus and formerly Head of the School of Mathematical Sciences at Swinburne University of Technology. He has been an active supporter of school mathematics over many years and helped pioneer the introduction of graphics calculators into Victorian schools. Peter is a highly experienced writer of mathematical content. His area of expertise is applied statistics.
